On World Book Day each child was asked to dress up in their favourite book character and bring in the book as well. The morning started off with a Reading Breakfast where the children had croissants, baguettes, butter and jam. We went into church to have an assembly where Mrs Herbert read the story of "Mary Anning". During the morning KS1 children watched a link with Claire Rayner and KS2 watched a link on BBC connected with World Book Day.After lunch the teachers read their favourite story to a group of children. KS2 then linked up with a live link with Michael Rosen and Michael Morpurgo.
Certificates were presented to the children who had taken part in the " Readathon".
