School Events 2025/2026
Harvest Festival
A service was held in Stoke Canon Church. Each class took part either with singing,poems,prayers or art work and making bread. Parents were invited and it was lovely to see such a great turnout to give support to the children.
Donations were requested of dry food items to donate to St Petrocs and also to Exeter Foodbank. These items have been gratefully received.

Anti Bullying Week
On 10th November so as to show "To make a difference" as part of Anti Bullying Week everyone was asked to wear odd socks to school.
Armistice Day- Rewe War Memorial Yr 5/6.
The children and staff attended the Armistice Day service at the Rewe War Memorial with the local community.
The children laid a wreath at the War Memorial on behalf of the staff and pupils of Stoke Canon School.
Fencing with Premier Sport
Grenville House Residential at Brixham -Yr 5/6
The Residential was for 5 days in Grenville House at Brixham overlooking the harbour and the fish market. The centre is operated by experienced instructors in water activities as well as land activities. The main aim is for the children to enjoy all the activities but focus on teamwork. The activities included canoeing,kayaking, raft building,abseiling, indoor climbing, high wire and teamwork. The weather was very cold which restricted some of the water activities but land or indoor activities were experienced instead. A fun week for all.
KS2 visited Charmouth.
The classes had been studying rock formation and fossils. They visited Charmouth and went to the Education Centre and n to the beach to see rocks and fossils,
